Who are we ?

Hinted Query Services BV is an Oracle Database focused company based in the Netherlands that provides IT services
relating to the Oracle Database. The company was started by me (Ron van Zijl) in 2006 as I made the switch to free-lance
work after working at various companies as an Oracle Database Administrator.

Even though the company is based in the Netherlands, the area I can be employed is International.

My expertise lies pretty much in all areas of performance tuning and designing for performance. Optimizing batch or OLTP processes either in backoffice systems or datawarehouses is something I have done to satisfaction at many companies. Design of datamodels and PL/SQL procedures or interfaces, again focussed on high troughput demanding performance systems, has also been a part of my experience.
